Park City Toastmasters invites all local and near-by residents to its Open House to learn what Toastmasters is all about.
”Park City Toastmasters provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills.” says Tom Bourguillon, President for Park City Toastmasters. After hearing from Mr. Bourguillon and other members talk about what Toastmasters has meant for them, members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include prepared speeches, Table Topics (impromptu speeches) and evaluations.
Jeff Weslow, the current Club Vice President Education, will be the Toastmaster for the evening. John Mahon, Former Club President, will be the Table Topics Master. “Table Topics is one of my favorite parts of the meeting.” says Mahon. “This is where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes. It helps you to think and speak clearly on your feet.”

Dear Future Toastmasters,
Thank you for your interest in Park City Toastmasters, and congratulations on considering this investment in your communications, leadership and organizational skills. While Toastmasters is best known for promoting effective speaking and communications skills, the benefits of Toastmasters membership extend far beyond public speaking to include self-confidence, professional success, fun and personal development.
In Toastmasters, you’ll work with a dynamic, diverse group of people who, like you, recognize the importance of organizing and expressing their thoughts, clearly and effectively, in front of audiences ranging from one to the thousands. Some members have joined us to work on public speaking, while others are more interested in improving their personal communications and networking skills. Whatever has inspired your interest, we at Park City Toastmasters look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. We’re glad you’ve expressed an interest in Toastmasters, and invite you to learn more by attending a meeting or by contacting us.
